Pattern By Elizabeth Hartman This is a patchwork-pieced pattern. The blocks are made entirely of rotary-cut squares and rectangles, and everything is sewn together using conventional patchwork techniques. This pattern includes a large number of pieces, many of which are small, but the same basic patchwork piecing techniques are used throughout. Each week we will focus on building the skills needed to make the mini quilts and the animals holding them. Make either the Small Quilt (45" x 57") or the Large Quilt (75"x85")

Spend the day quilting with Deb Strain, designer for Moda Fabrics, and Barb Cherniwchan, pattern designer of Coach House Designs. You’ll create a Table Runner using a pattern designed exclusively for Chicken Feed Quilts by Barb, featuring Deb’s brand-new fabric collection Family Tree. In addition, you’ll make a Hand Embroidery Project showcasing Deb’s unique designs. Each designer will also host an Information Presentation, offering a behind-the-scenes look at their creative process.
