Skill Builder Fall 2026: Beach House

Build your quilt one row at a time!

Join us for a fun, multi-session quilting class where we’ll work our way through a beautiful quilt made from rows of timeless and traditional quilt blocks. Each row offers an opportunity to learn, practice, and build confidence with a variety of quilt blocks and piecing techniques.

Rather than tackling the entire quilt at once, we’ll break the project down into manageable sections, working through the blocks and rows together. Along the way, we’ll share helpful tips for accurate cutting, piecing, pressing, and keeping your blocks organized.
Each row would also be great for a Table Runner, instead of combining them all into one quilt.

In Class We'll Cover:

  • Piecing a variety of traditional quilt blocks using Half Square Triangles, Flying Geese, and even some English Paper Piecing
  • Tips for achieving accurate seams and matching points
  • Pressing techniques to help your blocks lie flat and fit together
  • Assembling the completed rows into a finished quilt top
  • Helpful quilting tips and techniques throughout the project

Please Note

This is a multi-session class, allowing you to build your quilt gradually while learning and sewing alongside other quilters.
